Detox Your Mind, Body, And Soul With Positive Affirmations
What are these social and emotional toxic elements that have seeped into us? A frightening percentage of the world's population are unaware of the fact that they walk around in this existence diseased, encumbered by toxins that leave their mind, their body and their soul in a state of spiritual decomposition. One look around at the world today and why would anyone be surprised at the endemic that is affecting the human race.
We are living in a world that is rife with bad news, bad events, potential wars, nuclear cold war, tense and hatred between countries, acts of terrorism and worse - and they are enforced to us every time we turn on the television and watch the news. This is a world that is laid on the foundation of attrition and tragedy, and there is very little we can do about it. We are breathing in an environment that is filled with deadly toxins, with a potential for global meltdown at the turn of every CFC laced spray can.
And just recently, we are experiencing the crash of the very economy that controls the lives of every consumer in the world today. The pillars of our existence are slowly crumbling down as days go by and the effect it has on the mind, body and soul is quite frightening. It is a three-pronged attack that is both debilitating and the worse thing is that, we are not even aware of it. It is this 'gloom; that is slowly seeping into our minds and casting a shadow on everything we think about, storms riding on our ambitions, our hopes, our dreams, our attitudes and the outlooks that we have in life.
It is this gloom that is behind every sense of depression, dread, hopelessness and the cause that magnifies our stresses and traumas in life. Something must be done and it must be done early. Spiritual and mental depressions are toxic things that can readily and just as easily affect the body. Depression can cause us to lose our appetites, lose our health and our will to live. Stress can be the cause of migraines, high blood pressure and in some worst cases - loss of vision and temporary mania. We need something positive on the horizon, a rainbow after the storm, a silver lining in the cloud to give us hope, to give us back our ecstasy in life and to give us joy in the world.
These are not products of television cliché's but very real solutions to a very real problem of these toxins in our mind, body and soul. Positive affirmations have been around for a very long time and they are just what you need to maintain light in your life and side step the tell tale signs of stress and depression. Never accept how the world looks, always view it through a prism of positive thinking and happiness and you will be amazed at the sights you will see and the things you will uncover in life.

Frequently Asked Questions...
I'm hungry all the time, what should I do?
I try so hard to be healthy, I'm a vegetarian, an I try so hard to eat right. But I am hungry, all the time. I'm an emotional eater, I eat really, really fast. I mean, I can finish a meal in less than a minute, even if I'm not starving. I barely chew it. I can not control my portions, and I can't tell the difference between hungry or bored. I don't even enjoy food that much, I'm just constantly hungry. I weighed about 159 a year ago, I dropped to 130 from becoming a vegetarian, I went up to 142 again though, because I can't control myself. The people I live with keep cake, an cookies, an ice cream around at all times. And when I'm hungry, an it's "Hmm, a whole half of a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, or take out some broccoli, wash it, cut it, steam it...*shoves cake in my mouth*. I need help. Is there therapy for what's happening to me? I'm suicidal and I have depression, and I can't have this add to my depression.
Answer:
I heard drinking a glass or two of water before you eat might make you feel full. Green tea is good too- I personally like the Japanese kind that's actually green. You can try going vegan? (I am ^ ^) that helped me a bit, but I gained some because summer was over... Or perhaps you could try a Raw food fast/diet. You could develop non-harmful food almost-addictions like lettuce, grape tomatoes,...ice (my personal addictions <_<) or keep yourself too busy to eat excessively (I had a bit of a computer/anime addiction for a while - not very good tho...)- unless it's extreme of course-, and make yourself be too lazy to get food when it's not time to eat. But, if you must eat something sugary, go for cooking with stevia or sucanat instead of granulated bad sugars. And um, like someone else said, stay away from packaged/ manmade foods- they're bad for the environment anyway =D Luv your Hunny icon btw
