PLASTIC RESISTANT - CLEAR POLYCARBONATE
Clear Tarps For Greenhouse Construction
When most people think of constructing a greenhouse, they think of installing glass or plastic windows that let the light shine through so their tiny seedlings grow into strong, beautiful plants. While glass and plastic work well as roofing and siding for greenhouses, there is another excellent option - clear tarps. Not only do these tarps provide superior greenhouse protection, they also let the sunlight in and increase the humidity inside so plants grow and thrive.
Transparent And Waterproof
Clear tarps are cheaper than installing glass or plastic windows, but they're just as clear as glass and are much more scratch and damage resistant than plastic. Plants and people inside a greenhouse with a roof and side walls made from these tarps enjoy the benefits of sunlight and humidity while having protection from rain, wind, snow, hail, and other negative weather elements. Having these tarps installed on the roof and walls of a greenhouse isn't a problem in any temperature as many styles can withstand cold temperatures down to -40F and are tolerant at any outdoor heat temperature.
Lets The Light Through
Clear tarps let sunlight shine through and are UV resistant, meaning they're treated with UV inhibitants. Their smooth, polished surface is crystal clear and doesn't distort the natural light entering a greenhouse. Even on extremely cold days, sunlight will shine through these tarps, providing a warm and humid environment for plants.
Resists Mildew And Much More
Another huge advantage to using clear tarps in greenhouse building is they are mildew resistant. In addition, clear tarps resist oil, acid, and grease, making them also ideal for patio enclosures and for other high traffic area residential or commercial enclosures. With heat sealed seams, high tear and abrasion resistance, and smartly placed rust free grommets for connecting and securing them to any greenhouse frame, these tarps are simple to install and last a long time.
Much More Affordable
Clear tarps are also much more affordable than glass or plastic windows. You can construct a professional looking greenhouse on a budget with these tarps and if they ever do need replacing, it's much cheaper than replacing broken glass or plastic windows. In fact, even if you don't need to, you can easily replace these tarps every spring if you want without emptying your bank account.
Welding Blankets For Frame Construction
While many greenhouse framing kits are made of wood, many avid gardeners are opting for longer lasting welded metal frames. If you opt for a metal frame kit and decide to do the welding yourself, it's important that you take safety precautions to protect yourself from sparks, burns, spatter, and slag by using welding blankets. You'll keep yourself safe and the surface of your greenhouse frame damage free by using inexpensive welding blankets when putting your greenhouse frame together.
If you're considering installing a greenhouse in your backyard, consider clear tarps that let the sunshine in. For safety in welding metal frames, use welding blankets so your construction goes smoothly and you can begin enjoying your greenhouse quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions...
What's a good kind of clear coat to put in metal?
It would be applied on a spray painted metal guitar pedal. Hopefully something that would be resistant to scratches etc. A brand name would be great. Thanks!
Answer:
An automotive clear acrylic would be good and pretty durable. Available at auto parts stores everywhere. Clear epoxy would also be good. avoid Imron from auto paint dealers due to it's hazardous make up.
