Time Pieces In History - Maurice Lacroix Ladies Watches
The year nineteen seventy-five was a year that saw much new technology, the first of its kind. With space travel expanding, and a little thing called a microcomputer being invented, it was the start of a new and exiting era of imagination becoming reality. During this time, the Swiss introduced Maurice Lacroix mens watch.
Throughout history, humanity's desires have gone from fulfilling the very basic, to the very lofty. From our earliest beginnings we have had a curious nature of how things worked. Once our understanding grew on a topic we then moved to master it. From early on, this has driven people to become better and smarter.
With the philosophy of improving things, our ancestors were able to stop hunting and foraging, and start farming. Now people had more time to do things other than hunt and forage. Water storage was also an amazing advancement that made life easier for people. This also included diverting the flow of rivers and building lakes.
Once the basics were conquered it was on to greater pursuits. Complexity was added to the basics. Instead of just cooking meat people began to add spices. This made it possible to have more than one flavor for one type of meal. This knowledge led to cooking. Instead of one type of clothing, people wanted to express themselves, and fashion was born. Wanting to know more about the Earth led to migration and exploration. This desire for exploration eventually led us into the stars.
Science and art have always been compared and partnered with each other. They both require some sort of special equipment, and many years of study to master. One cannot exist in the manner that it does today without the other. The advances in science directly relate to the advances in technology. The subject matter in many paintings and sculptures have become the subject of scientific debate. This will continue as long as art and science exist.
The first way history was recorded was through stories, passed down from one generation to the next. As technology started advancing, so did our history. It was recorded through pictures, and later on words and books. While these hold meaning to many, nothing is more treasured than an item that once belong to a relative, like a necklace or a watch. These objects are artifacts that are alive with meaning and history and love.
Watches are one of the first pieces of technology that were made portable. The ability to carry time with us would not be possible without science, and the belief that time was important enough to be made portable. Everyone that owns and wears a man's watch is linked to the past because of this, and reminded that the future awaits us all.
Maurice Lacroix gents watch have taken the level of this art to mastery. Science and history have been combined into a breathtaking time piece. No matter how technology advances, it will never be able to replace an elegant, hand crafted Swiss-made wristwatches.
